Knowing I LOVE night shooting, my husband convinced me to head out in 90 degree EVENING weather to shoot fireworks. We found a small beach on Lake Winnebago near Menasha, WI and spread our blanket over the weeds WAY out on the breakwater. We were convinced [incorrectly] we had the best seat 'in the house'. Imagine the letdown when the first (and every) shot went off RIGHT behind that big tree on the right. Ugh.While I had planted my gear and the heat motivated me to stay where I was, other attendees waded into the lake to get a better view. As luck would have it, the Neenah fireworks display was visible in the background...and made for an interesting show!Because my hubby went to so much trouble, and sat [quietly sweating] next to me for 90 minutes, this image needs a place in folder 52.
